Our top 3 favourite case studies

Last Updated: 28 September 2023

Over the years, we have built up a reputation of being a quality company and written a lot of case studies that showcase our determination and passion for delivering a 100% personal and bespoke service to our customers.

From installing an Accoya orangery in a Cheshire home, to installing a uPVC porch in Knutsford, take a read through our 3 top favourite case studies. Hopefully, the case studies, alongside browsing through our gallery, will give you some inspiration as to how Reddish Joinery can help you.

An Accoya orangery in Cheshire

Accoya wood orangery installationDuring the summer of 2016 Mr. and Mrs. Bohme returned to Reddish Joinery after we had previously impressed them by delivering installing replacement windows and doors at their home in Cheshire.

This time, the project consisted of replacing an old conservatory with a modern bespoke orangery. Working closely with the couple, our design team created a bespoke plan to translate the family’s ideas into a workable reality – something we do with all our customers.

Opting for an Accoya timber orangery with bi-folding doors to encourage natural light and air to flow through their home, the replacement orangery complements the home’s character entirely.

Mrs. Bohme is enthusiastic about the result and said: “I have no hesitation in recommending Reddish Joinery as I can honestly say they have changed our lives”.

Houseful of grey uPVC windows and doors for the Short family

Upclose house front case studyIn 2018, Mr. and Mrs. Short called upon us to replace their white uPVC windows in their Manchester home. These outdated windows no longer met the style and comfort of their exquisite home, so our team set to work on updating these.

The houseful of grey uPVC windows and doors were replaced with subtle but smart Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) windows, ultimately giving their home the modern feel they longed for. What is even better is that the new windows featured low ‘E’ argon filled units which offered impressive U-values as low as 1.1! This meant that the Short family no longer needed to worry about pesky draughts or heat escaping from their windows.

In keeping with updating their home, the couple also wanted to update their doors to new Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) composite doors, and we do not blame them! There are 5 reasons to choose a composite front door for your home – from featuring incredible home security, to being built to withstand everyday living for years to come. The couple made a great choice.

When speaking about the installation, the couple said: “Could I take this opportunity to thank you and the whole Reddish Joinery team. You have done a fabulous job of replacing our old windows and doors, the house is totally transformed, and I am delighted with how it looks. The fitters did a great job and looked after our property, leaving it clean and tidy every evening.”

Accoya porch replacement in Morrtram Saint Andrew

Accoya wood porch doorA quaint little village located just a stone’s throw away from Reddish Joinery’s HQ in Cheshire, our team of experts was more than happy to help a customer complete a porch replacement project.

Originally, the customer’s home was sporting a green oak porch installed by another company. It had served its purpose but was no longer in keeping with the home’s aesthetics – especially after the couple had renovated the front of their home – and overtime had become tired and dated.

After talking through the different options with our team of experts, the couple opted for a natural Oak-like finish of Accoya. Not only does Accoya tie in with the modern style wanted by the homeowners, but it could also save them around £20 each year on their energy bills! Something we know our customers love to hear.

This home improvement project, alongside the first home improvement project are two of our all-time favourite case studies. Not only did our customers opt for Accoya wood – one of our favourite materials due to a multitude of benefits – but more importantly, they were happy with the result. Something that is very important to us.
