Very recently last May, the Reddish team completed the renovation and installation of a bespoke timber orangery, taking the customer’s existing extension and breathing new life into the space to make it much more enjoyable and inviting.

Mr Leigh had built the original extension as a conservatory himself some time ago, and so quite understandably the project was quite personal to him. He knew that he required a team that he would be able to trust implicitly, doing a better job than what he had done in the first place. Upon completion, Mr and Mrs Leigh expressed to the Reddish team that we had exceeded their expectations.

A team and installation service Mr Leigh could count on

When enquiring with the Reddish Joinery team about the job Mr and Mrs Leigh knew instantly that we were up to the challenge. They appreciated our history as a family-run business that still pride ourselves on delivering a personal touch not always found with other home improvement installers.

The entire orangery was manufactured and installed by us in-house and despite the fact that support was provided from a few other suppliers, Mr Leigh could feel comfortable dealing through us alone for a simple and smooth installation process. The result was a renovated new orangery extension that the Leighs could enjoy almost instantly.

Uniquely designed with high-quality materials for use throughout the year

Almost all of the products utilised within the timber orangery’s construction were sourced from Accoya, being a high-quality timber solution that is not only thermally insulating but sustainably resourced also. In terms of colour shading, it was important for Mr Leigh that the new additions perfectly colour-matched to the buttermilk painted windows already present within the main property. This required bespoke powder-coating not readily available, but we got the job done!

When compared with conventional conservatories, the new orangery is a more efficient alternative. As well as offering aesthetics which blend with the home’s existing appearance, the timber orangery can now match Mr Leigh’s home in terms of thermal retention and soundproofing. These properties and more ensure that the space will stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter, usable 365 days a year.

An enhanced space that left the customers astonished

Once the project was completed Mr and Mrs Leigh were both impressed with the excellent standard of work, happy to call upon our services if ever they were needed again. Mr Leigh expressed:

“Right from the very start with the quoting process through to the very end with the plastering, I have found working with yourself and your team to be extremely professional, understanding and considerate, combined with a passion for delivering a top quality solution without shortcuts.”

He concluded by stating; “The build quality and construction of the wooden doors, windows and roof is top draw, everything looks superb. The roof cornice also looks fantastic, thanks for all your assistance and help with that.”
