In the Reddish Joinery archive we recently discovered a collection of historic adverts relating to the company, some dating back nearly 30 years to the 1980s!
A fascinating view of the past
Today Reddish Joinery is known for pioneering the latest, high performance home improvement products. The 1980s, when this advert was first circulated, were no exception. By the time this advert was in print, we had opened our first state of the art factory, where we focused on creating windows and doors that offer exceptional levels of warmth. Detailing our own unique form of double glazing and frame design; ‘Parrotite’, which was designed to maximise the thermal and acoustic insulation of a home, this advert was one of many proudly showcasing Reddish Joinery’s commitment to product development and innovation.
A historic company with over 47 years of experience
Reddish Joinery are one of the oldest family run, timber window, door and conservatory installers/manufacturers in Greater Manchester and the north of England: we’ve been trading for over 47 years. Established in 1967, Reddish Joinery began life in a small building on the outskirts of Manchester. Since then we’ve rapidly expanded. In 1980, we moved premises and opened a factory where we could create our renowned timber windows and doors on a larger scale. It’s been onwards and upwards ever since. In 1997 we celebrated our 30th year of trading and in 2014 we invested in the latest machinery to further enhance the quality and complexity of our products.
We’re now in our third generation of family ownership and the business is growing faster than ever. With a rapidly expanding workforce, a booming factory unit and recent investment in the latest CNC routing technology, Reddish Joinery are carving out a name for themselves as one of the best timber window, door and conservatory manufacturers and installers in the UK.
